Martyna Woszczyło, PhD, DVM
Veterinarian, behaviorist, scientist. The heart and soul of VetAI.
Martyna is a practicing veterinarian, specializing in behavior therapy of dogs and cats. She engages in active research on neurochemistry and semiochemical communication in animals, first at University of Life Sciences in Wrocław, where she defended her doctoral dissertation with merit. Her research is continued at VetAI, in collaboration with world-leading experts. She is actively prozelytizing rational behavioral science, training new domain experts, continuing her previous activities under the PetIdea brand, which is now a VetAI company. Martyna eagerly engages in popular science outreach as well.
Her interests lay in enabling animal wellbeing through multimodal interventions, combining behavioral training, psychopharmacology and semiochemical modulators. Combining life-long experience in animal behavior (including camelids and poultry) with scientific rigor gives her unique insight into problem domain.
Martyna is an avid computer gamer, and owner of two cats and an exceptional border collie. She has superhuman skills in fitting 36 hours of activities in a 24 hour day and making impossible things happen in a blink of an eye.
